Daily log
Day 51 / 132
doneTuesday, June 30, 2026 · Phase 2
Blockers
- — The engine's EOD close failed again on a git-push approval timeout, so no Day 51 entry was committed.
What I learned
- — Two straight nights of the same approval-timeout failure mode means the gap is systemic, not a one-off.
Tomorrow
- → Fix the approval-hold timeout in the engine's EOD close so it stops silently dropping days.
Day 51 - Tue Jun 30
Backfilled on Day 52. Nothing below is invented; this is what the record shows.
The engine’s automated end-of-day close ran this day (engine task 543f41f4-1db0-40bc-9208-7555c097a065) and failed the same way Day 50 did: a git-push approval hold that never got answered in time. Engine review card 1613bfdd (review_queue, not a git commit) eventually decided it, but that decision came later. No commit reached this repo for Day 51.
There is no other Birthday-Challenge evidence to report for Day 51. This is the second consecutive night lost to the identical approval-timeout failure, which points at a systemic problem in the EOD close, not an isolated incident.
No counted launch moved. The total stays at six. Life metrics were not logged, so the zeros above are honest zeros, not estimates.
